Endicott Auxiliary Police
Serving the Village of Endicott since 1942
The Endicott Auxiliary Police is a volunteer organization dedicated to the preservation of the quality of life within the community, and exists to support the Endicott Police Department.  This Unit has a long history dating back to the spring of 1942 when it was organized, by the then Endicott Police Department Chief of Police, to enforce 'black outs' due to World War II.

The members are civic-minded citizens who work together to improve the level of safety and security in the community through volunteering their skills and talents to the service of the Endicott Police Department.

Endicott Auxiliary Police members provide a uniform presence at community events, such as, parades, sporting events, and ceremonies; assist with traffic control in the event of emergencies, such as, power outages or floods; act as additional 'eyes & ears' for the regular patrol force; provide an additional uniformed resource in the event of a large-scale emergency; and other non-enforcement & non-hazardous duties identified by the Endicott Police Department.
